Congratulations to the 15 Miscoe Hill students in grades five and six whose artwork has been chosen to be exhibited in the eighth annual Blackstone Valley Art in the Valley 2014 youth art show! Student work was selected because of its high quality and inventive artistic expression for the age group. We are very proud of our students’ creative effort and talent.
The artwork will be on display with the work of other students in Grades K-8 within the Blackstone Valley as well as work from 15 Miscoe Hill students in grades seven and eight.
New this year is a teacher gallery where art educators within the Blackstone Valley may submit work. I will have two of my digital paintings that were done on the iPad on display.
The show is being held at:
Elmwood Street Elementary School
40 Elmwood Street
Millbury, MA
Hours are as follows:
Friday, April 4, 2014, 7:00-9:00 pm – Opening Reception and Show
Saturday, April 5, 2014, 10:00am-12:00 noon – Show

Congratulations to all of the students pictured above! Detailed photos of their art follow:

As mentioned above, this year teachers are invited to display their work, so I have submitted two pieces of digital art that I painted on my iPad for the Every Day Drawing Challenge. Here they are:
