Enrichment Offerings – Session Two

Registration is open for Session Two of the Enrichment Program. Classes start the week of December 1 and meet for 7 weeks. This is a great chance to exercise creativity on a cold afternoon! These are my offerings:

Tuesdays from 2:45 – 3:45:

Bowl Me Over With Clay

Ice cream bowls, cereal bowls, berry bowls, and pasta bowls! During this session of clay class, we’ll use various hand-building techniques to create bowls of many types. We’ll explore a few different finishing techniques to make them look good enough to display on a shelf. The bowls will be fired and glazed so you may use them for whichever meal(s) you choose! Clay veterans and newbies welcome!

A very happy bowl – just one of many we will make in Bowl Me Over With Clay this session

Wednesdays from 2:45 – 3:45:

Art Club 5&6

This session of Art Club will focus primarily on designing for 3D printing using iPads and the free apps 123D Design and Modio. We’ll create models for snow creatures and robots to print on our 3D printer. While this will be the primary focus, art lovers are welcome to enroll in this session of art club to explore traditional art mediums such as watercolor, clay modeling, and drawing with a collaborative group of like-minded artists or as independent projects.

Registration closes on Friday 11/21. Both classes are $50. Forms are in the lobby.
