I’m crazy about these pencils. The bad news: Eberhard Faber stopped making them around 1998, which was (believe it or not) devastating to artists, musicians, and anyone who liked a soft, dark pencil. The good news: Another company started making them again in 2010. They are now called Palomino Blackwing 602.
