Welcome to Rocky Pine Studios!
Rocky Pine Studios in Upton, Massachusetts specializes in handcrafted pottery and original watercolor paintings. Owner Alice Matthews Gentili is a retired art teacher who enjoys making colorful, sometimes whimsical tableware and decorative ceramics, and creating realistic yet expressive paintings using her own photographs for reference. Alice enjoys selling her creations by appointment and through on-site Open Studios, at vendor fairs, and markets together with her partner, Dick Gentili. Hello and happy winter!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for another great year at Rocky Pine Studios! I am deeply grateful for your patronage in the studio and at the artisan markets where the MVP and I enjoyed vending this year.
I am also grateful for your participation in the clay workshops – for your company and shared creativity. I loved hosting you while you made beautiful artwork! With the arrival of winter today, classes are officially paused until spring. Look for postings about offerings in late March.
Meanwhile, I am still working in the studio on my own artwork and commissions. Please reach out via messaging if you would like to visit or if there is a special project I can develop for you. You can also email me at RockyPineStudios@gmail.com. Happy holidays to you and yours!
We are thankful!
