I am very excited to have received a free document camera from Ipevo’s Wishpool! Today I put it to use!
I used the Ipevo Point2View document camera to show the illustrations on the big screen while I read aloud the text to the students. All students can see the screen and view details of the illustrations “up close”. The read aloud is the introduction to a lesson on yarn painting based on the work of the Huichol Indians of Mexico. The book is The Journey of Tunuri and the Blue Deer by James Endredy. Illustrations by Maria Hernandez De La Cruz and Casimiro De La Cruz Lopez. Here is a clip:
