The fifth grade Notan pieces have been published to Artsonia! Artist statements will be added next week. Each student created a large black on white Notan piece first and then 3 more pieces using sets of complementary colors as described in this previous post: http://monalisaliveshere.me/2012/10/11/henri-matisse-quote-of-the-week-7/ .
Students used the large piece to create a folder, to contain the 3 color pieces and the artist statement.

art. Way to go!”
