Art Enrichment Classes – Registration Starts Today

Well, it sure feels like fall around here….first of all it’s only 40° outside right now AND Enrichment Program registration starts today! There are many excellent classes being offered this session, including one about the Presidential Election! But that’s not what I’m teaching – I am sticking with Art (my love) and offering the following two classes:

Art Club 5 & 6 – Calling all art lovers! This club is open to all students who love art. Most activities will evolve based on the interests of club members. Possibilities include clay, murals, origami, Manga, mosaics, painting, marbling, and large art projects that will be enjoyed by the whole school. Art club will be offered every session of enrichment, so it is more like a year-long club.

Flat Clay! What Did You Say? – This clay class will focus on all the amazing possibilities of “flat clay”. We will use clay slabs to make projects including holiday and seasonal ornaments, bowls, and containers. We will glaze the clay and fire it in our kiln for fabulous finished products. This class is open to all students, no clay experience necessary!
